About My Trading Journey
I trade S&P 500 ES futures using pure price action, heavily inspired by Al Brooks' principles of context, market cycles, and understanding traps. My goal isn't to mechanically follow patterns — it's to understand what price is doing in the moment and why.
I began my journey studying Mack's PATS (Price Action Trading System), which gave me a strong foundation in structure, discipline, and reading price behavior. Over time, my trading evolved toward a broader Al Brooks–style approach — focusing more on context, the bigger picture, and holding trades longer when the story supports it.
This journey has shown me that trading isn't about predicting. It's about reading, reacting, and staying consistent through both wins and losses.

Lessons I've Learned So Far
Context is king.
A setup means nothing without understanding where it sits in the market cycle.
Patience beats signals.
Discipline and waiting for the right story matter more than any entry pattern.
Screen time builds intuition.
Watching bars print daily teaches you how price behaves in different environments.
Consistency over perfection.
Trading success comes from executing well over a series of trades — not chasing the perfect one.
My Trading Journey So Far
Like many traders, I spent years searching for the "holy grail." Real growth began when I accepted that there are no secrets — only deeper understanding.
My biggest breakthroughs came when I:
- Focused on context instead of patterns
- Started journaling and reviewing every trade
- Let go of the need to be right on each setup
Now I trade performance accounts daily, working to execute with patience, read the market accurately, and let probabilities play out over time.
Why I Share My Trading Journey
Trading is one of the hardest and most rewarding challenges I've taken on. By sharing my trades, mistakes, and reflections, I aim to:
- Stay accountable and keep improving
- Show a realistic view of what it takes to trade price action consistently
- Encourage other traders to focus on process, context, and discipline
If you're studying Brooks-style price action, working through evaluations, or refining your chart reading — you'll find something here. My goal is simple: trade better, one day at a time.
